The Nightmare Recurs

Sitting through a heart bouncing finales of ICC World Cup (WC), witnessing the Indian team being crowned the honour of 2011 cricket WC champs… I wonder what are the feelings of those that had to leave the grounds beforehand. Champagne in the air, smiles spreading across the faces, the spirit of victory sparkling through eyes…
I wonder how the runners up feel. The crushing sense of reality, one has to lose for one to win, and them being the one’s destined to shoulder the latter part of the destiny, I wonder what thoughts run through their beaten hearts…
Their eyes spoke for me to decipher the unshakable sense of loss. Yet the smiles some among them managed to spread across their shinning faces, was the tell tale of humbleness embedded in those hearts. Giving a neck to neck fight Sri Lankan team became once again the proud runners up of the magnificent ICC  WC 2011. The experience would have surely brought the crushing memories of another day, another uneventful night for the team- the ICC WC 2007. This surely would have been a repetition of a nightmare once lived through, the seeping of cruel history into the present, for the hard shouldered Lankan team.
Life. That is all I can conclude. When there is a victory, defeat is always a part of it.

The Voice

Voice is a form of human expression that brings out the human feelings, the human needs, the human urge and the human in human being…

Any means by which you make a point or make yourself understood is- The Voice.

This is my voice… from where I will speak for the truth and humanity, from where I will voice against injustice and evil, from where I will be heard…

At this moment, I feel rejoiced at the fact that a suppressed nation has made itself heard all over the world triumphantly - the year old nation of Egypt. Valiant Egyptians have sent out their voice against the injustice that has been clutching them down. This feat has been achieved immensely by through the new media. Writing a blog, at this moment of history makes me feel the pulse of the voices-heard and unheard all over the world…

I hope “The Voice” could be heard by many out there…
